Ok really now...

Let's try this again! It is now the middle of september and I'm just now adding a new post. I'm sure it will take me awhile to really get the hang of this.

I am so glad that the fall is not far off and football has FINALLY started! I love football season and everything else that fall brings with it! I am a huge OU fan! However, living in georgia, I don't really get to watch many of the games. :-( We only pay to get ABC and they usually only show regional coverage of some team around here that I don't really care about!

My son Gavin is getting close to turning one! He'll be one on october 14th! I can hardly believe it! Right now I'm just working on trying to figure out how to make his cake and getting all of his presents lined up so that all the grandma's have something to give him that they want to give him and that it's not all the same thing and that he will actually enjoy whatever it is. All of our family lives in texas ( which I am hoping to get back to one day) so this birthday is a bid hoopla! My parents are taking us all to the GA Aquarium on his actual birthday which I think he will really love! He loves watching all the fish in our church's little aquarium. I'll post pictures once his party and birthday are actually over!

He has recently started really walking. Like just takes off around the house without needing to hold onto anything and actually preferring to not hold onto anything. Of course, he ends up with many more bumps and bruises that way! He can even stand up without pulling up on anything now. It is amazing to watch him and to know how long ago it was that he could barely take two steps! The human body is amazing! I am so thankful to God for giving me this little piece of joy to grow in His love and for His purposes!
