It's a Puppy Party!

This was the invitation to Gavin's 2nd Birthday party. He had a blast! We had almost all of our family here, except for 2 of them. Then, we had five other families. There were a lot of people here but we all had lots of fun!
We got some dalmatian balloons and put spots all over the walls all over the house.
Gavin loved that part! We started putting up the dots the day before and he spent the next 24 hrs. running around the house touching all the dots that he could reach screaming PUPPY PARTY!!!!! So funny!
I made little doggy ears for the kids to wear and collars that had the puppy name that they picked on it.
Gavin wanted to be Ruff. We had a dog bowl with cookies "dog treats" with their puppy name and little doggy bowls that they ate their cake and ice cream out of. Then I made a dalmatian red cake.
The icing was really melty but it still tasted pretty good. We blew up a lot of balloons to have all over the floor for the kids to play in. Gavin loved it! He played with those things all night long.
I also found a few puppy songs off of i-tunes and we had a dance party.
The older kids just went crazy. The littler ones took a little longer to come out of their shells and they were a little mesmerized by the older girls really dancing their hearts out. Gavin pulled out a few of his signature moves but was a little camera shy and people shy. All those eyes on him made him a little less of his crazy self. Then it was present time.
This was his face when he saw the big present that Joshua and I had gotten him!
A Bike! He was really excited! It's only the day after and he has already figured out how to get the peddles to spin once. He hasn't quite gotten them to repeat but that will soon come I'm sure. After presents we had dinner and cake and cookies and cream ice cream of course. Then all the kids played around some more. Gavin had gotten really close to the Haynes girls and gave them all hug after hug. This is Eden, the littlest one and the closest to his age.
It was really fun and Gavin had a blast! He has talked about it all day today. It was so relaxed and fun and all the kids really played well together. Although as we get oder to the ages where parents don't come, we will inviting less friends. :)
Thanks for coming everybody!
