Man, it's been really crazy around here!

It has been really crazy but also really fun! June started with a trip out to our churches student camp. We aren't totally involved with students anymore so we only go out for a day and spend one night then come back home. But we really enjoy the time with the kids and feels like it makes Josh more of a real person in their eyes instead of a just the guy who sings on sunday morning. Then, VBS started. I helped my mom wit h the drama this year mainly because I wanted Gavin to get to go and if your in preschool your mom has to work it. And drama is the most fun for me. We did a western theme this year and the three of us were Bessie, Tessie, and Messie. I was Bessie and was really girlie and sweet. It was really fun. Then we were asked to lead the worship at family camp this year which starts the saturday after VBS ends. Most families leave friday afternoon but we have a VBS thing on friday night so we couldn't leave until saturday morning. Plus we were trying to talk to the ATT people about trading in my new iphone 3 for the new iphone 4 and our car that we have been leasing was up to trade in and we were trying to figure out what car to buy instead. Very crazy time! Camp is about 10 hours away so it was a nice long drive. And really it is out in the middle of nowhere, with no cell phone or internet service which only made trying to close up all the little details of pre-said decisions especially difficult. None the less, it was really fun and Gavin had a blast. We fished in the creek and took a canoe ride down the river, which Josh maneuvered very well for his first time, and went on a long horse/trail ride. I will try and post some pics but this week is really no less crazy with a bunch of family coming in town for my grandpa's 80th birthday. But we are home now, trying to finish laundry and put everything away and clean for everyone coming in!
