A Break

Sorry for the long silence. A break to sit down and blog is really hard to come by around here. However, with Daddy home for a couple days and Grammie around to play with the big brudder, a little down time is much easier to find. So, I'll try and update some things. Since my last post,...... we had a baby!!
Titus James Stewart arrived Sept. 15th at 1:45pm. He was almost two weeks early but still weighed in at 8lbs 14oz! It only took 3 contractions and nine pushes to get the little booger out so when the doctor looked at Joshua like he was CRAZY after saying, "Wow, that was easy!" I had to explain that compared to last time and pushing for three hours, yes, that was "easy."
This was right before we left for the hospital at 5 in the morning. :) It was early but knowing that this was almost over made getting up that early really easy! I can't believe that I was really that big although I felt that huge! When Titus came out I literally remember feeling like I was floating because I all of a sudden felt so light! I'm sure that had nothing to do with all the pain meds I was on.
This was after only a couple hours this time of pitocin induced labor and an epidural and now it's time to start pushing. Little did we know meeting our little guy was only 15 min. away! It was actually quite funny. If you know Joshua very well you know this excited yell that he has when he gets excited or passionate about something. That's one of the only sounds I remember from when Gavin was born and considering that it took SO long to get him out we were all expecting a lot of pushing. So when Titus came out after only 9 pushes, it sent Joshua into this really excited screaming again. He couldn't believe that he was already here! I LOVE my husband!
Gavin got out of school at 2 that afternoon so Boo got him and they were at the hospital before they really gave Titus a real bath and Gavin has loved him from this very first glance.
Gavin was so excited while waiting for Titus to be born that he was going to be the brother and get to come into the hospital room and sit in the bed and hold the baby as much as he wanted b/c he was the big brother and he still loves to hold him and take care of him. He likes knowing what Titus likes and what makes him smile, etc. He is a REALLY good big brudder!

Gavin really is really good at helping me. He loves to be the one to go get stuff I need but there are times when he wants to be involved so much that it has been so nice for Gavin to have this baby that is his that he can take care of! He of course named him Titus.....what other name is there?
So Sweet! I think Titus gets just about as many kisses as any one person could handle!
These are our good friends who drove an hour down to the hospital so that they could see the little guy right away. They are such sweet friends and we love them so much!
We are getting ready to go home and as is tradition he had to wear the superman shirt home from the hospital. I'm pretty sure that if we ever have another one and it happens to be a girl, even she might have to wear the superman shirt home....maybe.
Our new family of four headed into our new house that the Lord recently blessed us with.
 All the Supermen:)
The next day was Titus' first OU game and we went over to Nene and Boo's house to watch it all together. He was really captivated.
