Sickness

Well, I thought things were starting to get a little easier around here until Gavin woke yesterday morning throwing up. It's really the first time that I have had to take care a child that is that kind of sick. Not really much fun. I called the doctor and she said that there is a stomach bug going around and that's all he had. The most important thing was to keep him hydrated. Of course that morning being the one morning where I hear some doctor on tv say that people actually die from this sort of sickness and dehydration. Just what I needed to hear! Anyway, so we go get pedialyte, which I now know he will not drink! Great! Now how am I supposed to keep him from dying of dehydration! He falls asleep on the way home from wal-mart even though his nap time isn't for another hour. So I put in the corner of the couch thinking that he would wake up in a sec.

But he didn't move for 2 hours! He really was not feeling very good! Then he threw up a couple more times that day. He slept again from 7 to 9 and only woke up to take a bath because I woke him up. But he is doing much better today so yeah! Maybe now things will start to be on the calmer side of things!
