We're moving to Texas!

Well, in case you don't know yet we are moving to Katy, Texas. It is a move that is very bittersweet for our family. My husband has loved every minute of working at his church in marietta and hates to leave the kids that he has loved on and prayed for these past 5 years. It is totally stressful and over-whelming for me right now. Trying to get the house ready to sell and show and then trying to keep the house ready to show is much easier said than done. I truly feel that the Lord has promised that He will sell our house but I'm having a hard time not knowing all the exact details, but that's not really anything new. We have known for about 3 weeks now but just finally got to tell all the students so that has helped with some of the emotional issues of feeling like you have this huge horrible secret.

On the other hand, we know that God has lead us to this amazing church, Kingsland Baptist, in Katy, Tx. We are so excited to go, God has really worked on our hearts, especially Joshua's and prepared us to be leaving. That has been really amazing to see God's hand so evident in your life. We absolutely love the pastor and Joshua will be the head of the music ministry which is really exciting as well as over-whelming at the same time! We have felt such a strong leading that we would be moving to this church no matter where it was.

However, even more of a blessing, it happens to be the church I went to in high school, got married in and my parents still attend. Joshua's family is only 45 min. away as well so to be so close to our families is a wonderful icing of a blessing! All of our friends from college are mostly in texas or close enough and so we will get to see them more often and go to homecomings and reunions which I am really excited about. There are so many little things that God has taken care of by moving us back to Katy and we are so blessed to get to follow Him there.

Just read about it in the bulletin today! Congratulations on Josh's new position. He will be phenomenal! You are so blessed to get to go back to your home church; a least you know a "few" folks there in Texas, right? :)
