No...they're not balls!

So Gavin is finally in bed tonight and I have been running around trying to get ready for the packers to come tomorrow and a garage sell that the community is having tomorrow and laundry done, etc but I had to take a small break. Joshua is in New Orleans this weekend for some seminary class stuff so it's just Gavin and me. So tonight we are sitting on the couch trying to ride out a huge thunderstorm that swept through and watching tv. He LOVES balls! He already owns about 20 and he can throw, catch, dribble, bounce, etc. You name it, he can do it probably because he almost always has one in his hand. I started sending him to the nursery at church with one because that was the only version of a security blanket that we could find. I've never really heard of that before but hey, whatever makes you happy little guy! Ball was probably his first real word and everything starts out being called a ball. So tonight we are sitting on the couch and Gavin starts pointing at my chest and saying "ball". And I'm like no...that's part of mommy. And Gavin says "ball". And I'm like no.....so this goes on for about 15 min. until he finally got distracted with something else. Then for the next 15 min. he started attacking me. And by that I mean, grabbing my face and trying to eat my lips off! He would just slam his head into mine with his mouth wide open and let me kiss all over his face and make the echo sound in his mouth and get slobber all over me. Sounds totally disgusting writing right now but it was a wonderfully sweet kind of fun! I love it when he gets in those kind of lay all over you and smother you kind of moods. I think they are my favorite! Anyway, I laughed until I cried the entire time! But if you know me at all, that's not that uncommon!

Haha, that is too cute! Mason loves balls too. He takes one to bed with him during his nap and when he goes to bed at night. It makes things go a lot smoother. Hope the move goes well for you guys.
