Mother's Day

I know I'm really late posting this but oh well! This mother's day was great! It was really fun being in katy with both my mom and her mom. It has been years since I have gotten to see my family on such *cough*"trivial" holidays. We went to church of course that morning and one of the pastors had everybody else stand up except for the mothers and give them a standing ovation. So my brother is a few rows back and looks and sees that I am not standing up and thinks to himself, why isn't lacey standing, oh yeah, she's a mother! Hilarious! Then we went out to the prayer garden, where we took our wedding pictures, how cool is that, and took some family pictures. 

 

 

 

Then we went out to lunch and joshua and gavin gave me a deluxe day at the spa! plus some cards and peanut m&m's. Joshua thought I really deserved that because of how hard this move was, especially with a crazy 18 month old and I really had to do pretty much everything by myself with all of his trying to do two different jobs in two different states and trying to finish up seminary for the semester. It was so crazy that I think I had, but still barely have, hives or some allergic reaction to the stress! Crazy! And very sweet! Thank you boys! I love you both oh so much!
