Family Fun

The other day we decided that we would all go out and do something really fun together as a family before my dad left for work again and JD left for college. So we thought putt putt might be fun! So we all jumped in the car and first had some very yummy spring creek bbq! then headed off to the golf course. It was a lot of fun! Gavin did really good and even made contact with the ball a couple of times.
But of course he mainly carried his ball to the hole and threw it in, like most little kids do, but I was impressed with how he could through it in and make it sometimes instead of just dropping it in from point blank range.
We played all 18 holes and he really was a trooper! He even stopped to "smile" for me at one point.
He loved all the different courses and rolling his ball up all the slopes, etc. He tried to help everyone hit their balls and we played knowing that Gavin was an extra obstacle that could get in the way!
We all laughed at how he seemed to get in the way at the worst times. Typical! But eventually he did get tired.
All in all a great fun family night!
