Daddy's Concert

The youth here at kingsland all go on different mission trips based on their age but they all go the same week. The sixth graders stay close in downtown houston and do some mission work downtown with a church down there. One of the days, they were going to have a block party with a cookout and games, face painting and a concert. The mission guy asked Joshua and the band from sunday morning to come down and play some christian songs and some popular songs. So Gavin and decided that we would go down there for a little bit.

Gavin loved it! He played with the ball toy and actually made it in one of the holes from the line one time!

He loved the music of course but wanted Joshua to hold him while he sang which was difficult of course and caused a few tears. And he also got his face painted.

He wanted a basketball, which he got but I thought it would be funny to paint this on his face as well! Hilarious! It was really fun, and REALLY hot but we had a good time.

Gavin got a sucker and then we found our way inside the church. We came home and took a bath that night and discovered.....Uh oh!

Houston we have a problem!
