Over Christmas we went on a big family vacation. Really the first one since I got married and now Lindy Jo is married as well so JD got to bring a friend along. So all nine of us head off on this wonderful trip. Unfortunately, it was a little colder than we thought it was going to be. I mean we were thinking, it's the Bahamas, it's always warm! Well, not really and especially with all the cold fronts that came through and hit the south this winter. I mean, it was cold. I think the highs were in the lower 60's for the most part. There might have been one day where it hit 70 but when you are thinking swimsuits and shorts, that's cold, not to mention the temp. of the water! And what else did we go there for but to get in the water!!! So we bought wet suits and jumped in. It was really fun despite the cold. I got to scuba dive in the real open water ocean for the first time and that was great! We all took a snorkeling trip that was fun and found a beach that had great snorkeling that we went to everyday. We saw lots of eagle rays and manta rays and a sea turtle. Just fun adventures to go on with each other. So just thought I'd share a few pics.
