Well we got back from Israel and man that was a trip!! I learned so much that I could never fit it all in one little blog post so I'm not even going to try. But one major thing was how much I judged the Israelites and then found myself totally doing the same things they did that were so long after not that long of the trial. It was amazing to me how I could walk through some long hard trial that the Lord got us through, we would get on the bus, refill our water bottles, and take a short ride somewhere else. We would jump off and start hiking again and within minutes I was mad, frustrated and ready to quit! I couldn't believe it, after all those times I had thought the Israelites to such wimps and complainers!
But we got back and tried to get life going normally again. Lots has happened, friends have had babies, I have filmed a couple of small movies, my family has visited but mainly, Joshua has finished seminary for the semester!!!! He only has one more class left! And then he will be totally done!! AAHHHH! I'm so excited. I mean next semester will be wonderful in it's own right but right now this summer is glorious! We came home from church today and he was like, wow, I have absolutely nothing to do. It feels so good that he can help take care of Gavin and have time to relax. Him being forever done is so close I can taste it.
Unfortunately, there is still no news on our house. We have had a couple of showings but no offers. We have had a couple people interested in renting it and I think that pretty much sums it up. It's a great little house and at a good price. People want to buy it I think, they just can't qualify for a loan. So that leaves us pretty stuck. So if we still don't get anything but the end of july, I think we're going to try renting it until next spring.
Well I guess that's pretty much it for now!
