Well, we got an e-mail earlier this week from our Realtor. Turns out that the lady's house did sell but she put an offer on a different house. The thing that blows my mind is how cavalier she was about it! As if it was no big deal! Plus, she wasn't even going to tell us!! If our realtor hadn't called her constantly, we would still be thinking that she still hadn't sold her house! I mean how do you tell someone that you are going to put an offer on their house when yours sells and then put an offer on a different one period, but then not even tell them!!!!!
Therefore, we are now in the process of putting on the renting market as well. It will stay on both markets until one or the other comes through. Our realtor is having a shared open house this weekend with another house on our street but that house is listed a lot more than ours so we are hoping that helps get more people there and that ours will look like the better deal. There is also a foreclosure on our street that is listed a lot more than ours so hoping that once again that might attract people to our street/neighborhood and then that our house would be the best deal.
Hopefully we will get at least one thing or the other here this month and get some what of an answer/closure and be able to at least really start looking for a house.
