Gavin's party was really fun and I was able to implement some things that I learned last year. Like how much stuff you can really actually do in two hours. So we started out nice and easy and had his jump house going outside while everybody was getting there. It was a PERFECT fall day, cool but not to cool, and a nice breeze. It was so nice to just sit outside and talk while the kids played.
He wanted a cars party and he had told me that he didn't like cake but he did like cookies so we had a cookie cake! It was delicious!
He blew out all three candles all by himself!
His mountain of presents from us, both grandmas and friends.
We didn't get through all the presents while everyone was there. He just opened the presents from his friends and family that would be leaving soon.
I have no idea :)
After cake and presents all the kiddos wanted to head back outside. Some of the boys jumped again for awhile but Gavin colored with chalk with his "honey" Eden.
Then we had some races to go along with our cars theme. The kiddos loved it! They must have run 50 different races.
Gavin was making the funniest, serious faces while he was running!
Then they all got gold medals for their effort.
The official group photo.
Sweetie pies.
Later that night after all the kids left Gavin opened his other presents that his Nene and we gave him.
He loves putting on an apron and pretending to cook. I'm not sure where he got that from considering no one really wears an apron around our house to cook. But I suggested him the boy "Chef" version to make his daddy happy.
This is the morning of his actual birthday. He wanted doughnuts for breakfast on our way to bible study.
Then later that night we went to Rainforest Cafe.
SO silly!
Showing off his acrobatics.
"3!!!!!"
