I know!

Yesterday was wednesday and if you don't know, wednesdays are a little crazy for us. We have church night stuff and Gavin needs to be in his room by 5:30 so I can get to my room and start drama by 6. Which means that dinner needs to be done by 5:25ish, which means that we need to be in daddy's office with the dinner to eat before 5, which means that we need to leave the house around 4:20ish.....for dinner!?! So, of course by the time we get home around 8:45 Gav is hungry but it's time for bed! So last night he was asking for a snack and I know he's hungry so I'm trying to think of something he can have. He is suggesting a hostess cupcake, which all three of us LOVE, but there's so much sugar right before bedtime????? so I'm kinda stalling but I can't think of anything either. We are both walking around the kitchen, thinking, then I hear him say in a very high, excited voice, "I know what I can have!" I'm like what? "A Banana!" As if that is the most exciting and delicious thing! I'm like, perfect idea sweetie pea! So he excitedly gets a banana and we go into the living room to rock and let him eat this treat. :) I peel it half way and he eats for a  little while then asks, "Mommy, when it gets all the way down, can you push it back up again?" Of course sweetie! "Oh, I thought you could" (smile) So he eats it to the peel and hands it over, I peel it down some more and hand it back. "Oh, Thanks Mommy! I knew you could do it!" No problem son! He continues to munch for a little bit then almost to himself, in a very content voice, "I love snacks!"

I sure do love my sweet little boy! He knows how to make my heart melt!
